COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Aug. 23, 2022 – PRLog — Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care of Colorado Springs increases access to quality care for veterans and earns a fourth star. WHV partners recognize the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. The WHV program levels foster an obligation to provide the best quality of care to those who have served our country. Colorado Palliative & Hospice Care has the ability and resources to support the patient when there are specific needs related to the veteran’s military service, combat experience, or other traumatic life events.

“Our team strives to provide quality and holistic care for every patient who enters hospice care. Our We Honor Veterans program is strategically focused on walking alongside our veteran patients and giving them the end-of-life support they need. When a veteran is near the end of their life, we want to be there to help care for them and their family members,” said Monty, Mora, Counseling Services Manager.

“Our We Honor Veterans program is not only dear to my heart, but it is dear to the staff. We strive to provide the care and support at the time veterans need it the most. Our veterans sacrificed their time and safety, risking everything, to ensure the safety of our nation and its people.” – Regina Reed, Volunteer Coordinator
